I was honored to speak on the second night of the inaugural Hot Springs Book Festival. The house was packed and the crowd was quiet for an hour as I gave them a glimpse of my book, Snake Eyes: Murder in a Southern Town.
Late into my presentation, I pointed out several unusual coincidences in this true crime mystery from 1966. This story has waited a lifetime to reveal the truth about 13-year-old Cathie Ward’s suspicious death at Blacksnake Ranch and the owner, who later committed a murder in cold blood and terrorized our town.
The Hot Springs Book Festival live-streamed my appearance and a video is now available @ YouTube/Garland County Library/Book Talk featuring Bitty Martin, or by googling “Bitty Martin on YouTube."
